The only thing bright enough to rival the flashing paparazzi bulbs lining La Croisette? The sparkling high jewellery creations twinkling from the ears and fingers of the A-list on the Cannes red carpet.
This year, the Cannes Film Festival has been a showcase of extravagance, with one standout piece being the breathtaking pear-shaped platinum Tiffany & Co. choker adorned with 68 carats of diamonds, worn by Anya Taylor-Joy to the premiere of her film *Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga*. The choker has emerged as one of the festival’s biggest high-jewellery trends this summer.
Other notable jewellery moments include jury president Greta Gerwig, who exuded Old Hollywood glamour in Chopard, and Léa Seydoux, who dazzled in a sapphire-centered piece by Louis Vuitton. Helena Christensen also turned heads with Pomellato’s signature gourmette chain, featuring over 2,000 white diamonds.
