Located just 70 km from the Arctic Circle, in the heart of Swedish Lapland, Arjeplog is a unique blend of natural beauty and cutting-edge technology. Known as a prime location for extreme weather car testing, it is surrounded by expansive lakes, snow-laden pine forests, and the enchanting Arctic tundra. When night falls, the Northern Lights illuminate the sky, providing a surreal backdrop to the roar of sports car engines.
Each winter, for a limited 14-week period, the frozen Lake Udjaur is transformed by Lapland Ice Driving into the world’s largest driving center. Spanning 3,000 acres, this exclusive drifting playground is unmatched globally. Enthusiasts can tackle 13 different tracks, including full-scale replicas of famous Formula One circuits such as Silverstone, Paul Ricard, and Nurburgring.
No matter your skill level, the experience is designed to deliver heart-pounding excitement. With guidance from top-tier instructors from premier driving championships, participants can refine their drifting skills, driving up to 250 km daily – the equivalent of an F1 Grand Prix. The thrill is unadulterated, with no barriers or walls, only the soft cushioning of fresh snow along the tracks.
The fleet at Lapland Ice Driving includes 30 specially-prepared cars, featuring brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Toyota Yaris GR. Each day offers the excitement of driving a different vehicle, all customized for extreme conditions.
