Hamilton wins British GP for ninth time

In a thrilling display at the British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton emerged victorious, marking his first win since December 2021. 

Battling against Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, Hamilton showcased his skill in a gripping wet-dry race, securing his 104th career win and setting a record with his ninth victory at his home circuit.

This race was particularly emotional for Hamilton, as it marked his final British Grand Prix with Mercedes before his upcoming move to Ferrari. 

Overcome with emotion, Hamilton expressed his gratitude to his team over the radio, saying, “This means so much to me”.
